On August 19, 2025, ICSO Team in collaboration with local authorities of Poy commune, organized meeting to strengthen the capacity of the committee and community members on the rights to manage and use land-forest, based on by-law and internal rule of Kreung indigenous community in Mas village, Poy commune, O’Chum district, Ratanakiri province. The community requested to select a new committee leader to replace the elder member. The ICSO team explained the contents of the by-law and internal rule, highlighted key articles such as Article 11, 13, 22, and 27 of the community by-law and Article 7, 10, and 13 of the community’s internal rule related to the management and collective use of community land-forest. The committee and community members gained a clearer understanding of the by-law and internal rule, particularly regarding the management, organization, and use of land, natural resources, as well as conflict resolution within the community. This meeting was attended by local authorities. The total of 51 participants, including 30 women involved in this session.
