On September 8, 2025, the ICSO team, in collaboration with the local authorities of Ta Veang Kraom Commune, organized a meeting to strengthen the capacity of the community committee and members on land and natural resource’s management based on the statute and internal regulation of Prov Indigenous Community, Tumpuon Roeng Thom village, Ta Veang Kraom Commune, Ta Veang District, Ratanakiri Province.

As a result: After the ICSO project staff read and explained the contents of the statutes and internal regulations, several important provisions were identified for future implementation. These include Articles 11, 13, 22, and 27 of the Community Statutes, as well as Articles 7, 10, and 13 of the Community’s Internal Regulations on the collective management and use of land.

The committee and community members gained a clearer understanding of the contents of the statutes and internal regulations regarding the management, arrangement, and use of land, natural resources, as well as the resolution of disputes within their community.

The meeting was attended by the Ta Veang Kraom Commune Council, the village chief, the committee, and a total of 70 community members, including 29 women.
