On September 9, 2025, the ICSO organization team, in collaboration with the local authorities of Ta Vaeng Kraom Commune Administration, organized a meeting to strengthen the capacity of the committee and community members on land management and use rights based on the statutes and internal regulations of the Kreung Indigenous Community in Tun Village, Ta Vaeng Kraom Commune, Ta Vaeng District, Ratanakiri Province.

As a result: After the project officer of ICSO read and explained the content of the statutes and internal regulations, several key articles were selected for implementation in the future, including Articles 11, 13, 22, and 27 of the community statutes and Articles 7, 10, and 13 of the internal regulations concerning the collective management and use of community land.

The committee and community members gained a clearer understanding of the content of the statutes and internal regulations regarding the management, allocation, and use of land, natural resources, as well as the resolution of various disputes within their community.

The meeting was attended by the Ta Vaeng Kraom Commune Council, the village chief, the committee, and community members, totaling 56 participants, including 31 women.

On September 9, 2025, ICSO, in collaboration with the Department of Ethnic Minority Development of the Ministry of Rural Development, coordinate and support the community committees leaders from 10 target villages to participate in the celebration of the 31st International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples 21st in Cambodia under the theme of "Protecting and shaping the future of indigenous peoples in the context of the digital transformation" held in Kampong Thom province, Cambodia under highly presidency of His Excellency Chhay Rithysen, The Minister of the Ministry of Rural Development. A total of more than 800 stakeholders were participated in this event.
