
On May 28, 2025, ICSO teams from Ratanakiri and Phnom Penh have visited two Charay Indigenous Communities (ICs) in Darl and Tang Chik villages of Nhang Commune, Andong Meas District, Ratanakiri Province. Both ICs have already submitted their applications for Indigenous Communal Land Title (ICLT) with Provincial Department of Land Management Urban Planning and Construction (PDoLMUPC).
The purpose of the visit was to consult with the communities regarding their commitment to proceed with the ICLT registration process, allowing ICSO to move forward with its further planning. The consultation meeting was attended by 51 participants (including 19 women), consisting of community leaders, members, local authorities, and the ICSO team.
