On October 3, 2025, the ICSO project team, in collaboration with the local authorities of Lbang 1 commune administration, organized a meeting to strengthen the capacity of the committee and community members on land management and utilization rights, based on the community’s internal regulations and statutes of the indigenous Prou ethnic community in Katieng village, Lbang 1 commune, Lumphat district, Ratanakiri province.
As a result: After the ICSO project staff read and explained the content of the statutes and internal regulations, several key provisions were highlighted, including Articles 11, 13, 22, and 27 of the community statutes, as well as Articles 7, 10, and 13 of the internal regulations concerning the management and use of communal land.
The committee and community members gained a clearer understanding of the content of the statutes and internal regulations regarding the management, allocation, and use of land resources, natural resources, as well as conflict resolution within their community.
