On 20 November 2025, the ICSO organization team, in collaboration with the local authorities of Pate Commune Administration, organized a meeting to strengthen the capacity of the committee and community members on land management and land-use rights, based on the by-laws and internal regulations of the Indigenous Charay Community of Kong Thom Village, Pate Commune, O’Yadav District, Ratanakiri Province.

Results: After the project officer of ICSO read and explained the contents of the by-laws and internal regulations—highlighting several important articles to be implemented in the future, such as Articles 11, 13, 22, and 27 of the community by-laws, and Articles 7, 10, and 13 of the community internal regulations regarding the collective management and use of community land—

the committee and community members gained a clearer understanding of the contents of the by-laws and internal regulations related to land management, allocation, the use of land resources, natural resources, as well as the resolution of various disputes within their community.

The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Chief of Pate Commune, the Village Chief, Village Assistants, the Community Committee, and community members, totaling 48 participants, including 11 women.
