On 20 August 2025, the ICSO working group, in collaboration with the local authorities of L’ak commune, organized a meeting to strengthen the capacity of the community committee and members on the rights of land management and use, based on the bylaw and internal rule of the Kreung indigenous community in Pi Village, L’ak commune, Ou Chum district, Ratanakiri province. After read and explained the contents of bylaw and internal rule, highlighted the key articles such as Articles 11, 13, 22, and 27 of bylaw and Articles 7, 10, and 13 of the internal rule, which are related to the collective management and use of community land-forest, the community committee and members gained a clearer understanding of the contents of bylaw and internal rule, particularly regarding the management and use of land and natural resources, as well as the resolution of various disputes within the community. The meeting was attended by commune authorities, village assistants, committee members, and community members, with a total of 63 participants, including 38 women.
