
On August 6, 2025, ICSO team has collaborated with the local authorities of Cha Ung Commune Administration and organized a capacity-building for Community Committee and members on the rights to manage and use land, based on the community’s internal rule and bylaw of Kreung Indigenous Community in Thuy Tum Village, Cha Ung Commune, O’Chum District, Ratanakiri Province, Cambodia.
The content of the bylaws and internal rule—highlighted some key articles for future implementation—specifically Articles 11, 13, 22, and 27, as well as Articles 7, 10, and 13 of the community’s internal rule related to collective land management and used. the Community Committee and members gained clearer understanding of the content. They now have a better grasp of the regulations and bylaws regarding land management, allocation, and the use of natural resources, as well as methods for resolving conflicts within their community.
