On October 7, 2025, the working group of ICSO collaborated with the local authorities of the Lung Khong commune administration to organize a meeting to strengthen the capacity of the committee and community members on land management and usage rights, based on the statutes and internal regulations of the Tampoun Indigenous Community in Pa Or village, Lung Khong commune, Bar Kaev district, Ratanakiri province.

As a result: After the ICSO project officer read and explained the contents of the community statutes and internal regulations—highlighting key articles such as Articles 11, 13, 22, and 27 of the community statute, and Articles 7, 10, and 13 of the internal regulations related to the management and collective use of community land—the committee and community members gained a clearer understanding of the contents of these documents.

They also improved their understanding of how to manage, allocate, and use land and natural resources, as well as how to resolve various disputes within their community.

The meeting was attended by the first deputy commune chief of Lung Khong, the village chief, committee members, and community members—a total of 33 participants, including 19 women.
