Event on 16-17 October 2025

On October 16-17, 2025, ICSO supported the Kreung indigenous community in Svay village, Poy commune, O Chum district, Ratanakiri province to replant trees in the community protected forest area for contributing the environmental conservation. Trees were planted in the total area of 2,000 hectares, planting in the forest gaps. The total number of trees planted was 160: 16 Chheu Teal trees, 16 Beng trees, 16 Thnong trees, 16 kranhoung trees, 16 korkir trees, 16 Popel trees, 16 korkoh trees, 16 five-damleong trees, 16 trach trees, and 16 sokram trees. There was active participated by local authorities committee leaders and members, with a total of 35 participants (3 women).
